I’m pretty sure that we can all agree that animals make this world a better place.
Their love, cuteness, and happiness can turn any frown in just a matter of moments – a rare power only a few possess.
That is why when I see a stray animal dragging its tired body across the streets, it completely breaks my heart. These loving fur babies deserve only the best in the world and many hoomans refuse to give them that.
To make things worse, some even decide to abuse them.
Luckily, the world is still full of loving hoomans who do everything in their power to bring an end to such instances.
The Sweetest Boy Around

An adorable stray pup woke up one day and decided that it was time he found himself a loving home.
That is why, after gathering as much courage as he could, he made his way to a hooman’s backyard, hoping that they would offer him a helping hand. And, they did!
The owner of the property decided to contact an animal rescue located in Georgia, informing them that there was a little four-legged friend who desperately needed their help.
Without a single hesitation, a team of rescuers grabbed their gear and headed to the location. However, nothing prepared them for what they were about to see.

The doggo was one of the sweetest guys they had ever met!
He was extremely friendly, greeting everybody with the biggest smile and the cutest tail wag. Unfortunately, his condition wasn’t so great.
He was missing most of his fur and his nails were super overgrown, causing him a lot of pain.
The Georgian rescuers knew that this pup needed medical assistance as soon as possible. But, since the only available appointment was in one day, the rescuers decided to put him in their car and take him to the shelter.

Good Times Are Coming
Knowing that he was extremely hungry, the rescuers decided to give the pup a nice and nutritious meal. And, the pup loved it! He ate an entire bowl a record time, licking the bowl clean.
They also decided to give the pup, now named Rex, some toys. However, he wasn’t too excited about them. What this sweet boy really wanted was some good old pets and cuddles!
Of course, the hoomans provided just that.

And, they didn’t stop! They showered Rex with so much love and attention that within just a few days, his condition started improving dramatically.
He made tons of friends, his fur started to grow back, and he even learned how to walk on a leash.
Rex also couldn’t get enough of the delicious meals he was being spoiled with, helping him pack on some healthy weight in no time.
Fast forward a couple of months and Rex was a completely different dog.

With Rex turning into the sweetest, most handsome boy, it was no surprise when someone finally decided to give him a forever home!
What A Happy Ending
The moment Rex walked through the front door of his new home, it was like he instantly understood that this was where he was meant to be all along.
Not only did he have an incredible hooman who showered him with love and attention, but he also had amazing doggo siblings who loved having neverending playdates with him.

Whenever I see a pup who refuses to give up hope, I just know they’re destined to have all their dreams come true.
Rex went through so many hardships in life but he fought through them like a champ!And, because of that unshakeable hope – and the kindness of some incredible hoomans – Rex is finally home!
A Neglected Pup Who Was Chained Her Whole Life Melts With Love When She Meets Her New Mom
Laila’s life has been nothing but suffering. The pup spent her whole life chained in her owner’s yard because she didn’t get along with her doggy siblings.
Sadly, the canine never knew what love felt like.
Since she lived in such miserable conditions, Laila’s heart became filled with fear. Whenever people approached her, she would start barking.
Laila needed humans who would give her affection and show her that life was beautiful and worth living.
The Pup’s Owner Decides To Surrender Laila

Laila’s owner reached out to Sidewalk Specials, a dog rescue and a mass sterilization unit, asking them to come and help him with his ‘aggressive dog’ Laila.
Rachael, the founder of the organization, along with her team, went to the family address.
When the team arrived and approached the man’s home, Laila spotted them and began barking as loudly as she could
The rescuers’ hearts broke after seeing how neglected and malnourished the doggo was.
Beneath her ‘aggressive’ behavior, they saw a desperate and frightened dog who lacked love.

The good people sat next to her and began feeding her while speaking to her in a soothing voice. Laila stopped barking.
The good people removed the chains from her neck and Laila breathed a sigh of relief.
The pup’s owner said that he didn’t know how to appease Laila because she was fighting with his other dogs.
After the rescuers offered to take Laila with them and find her a loving home, the owner agreed. He wanted the pup to be loved.
Rachael picked Laila up, promising her that her life would change for the better.

For the first time, the pup was leaving the yard.
Rachael caressed Laila and helped her get in the car. The pooch sensed that she could trust her heroes.

The rescuer thought of a perfect family for her.
The crew drove the pup to Mary, a wonderful woman with a big heart. They knew that she would love Laila just like she deserved.
Mary sat next to Laila and talked to her, showing her that she wasn’t afraid of her.
Laila wasn’t used to kindness. She kept looking at her new mom and trying to process what was going on.
Since everyone around her was so loving, Laila was calm. The doggo could feel that she was in a safe environment.

Mary’s kids were delighted with the pup. Their mom taught them that they need to be extremely gentle to Laila.
The children began cuddling the canine and she closed her eyes, taking in the affection she needed so badly.

Mary and her family were grateful to Sidewalk Specials for trusting them with Laila. Their home was humble but it was abundant with love.
After a short time, Rachael and her team visited the dog. They were dazzled with Laila’s transformation. She flourished into a beautiful and healthy pup.
She adored her family and followed her mom everywhere. They became best friends.

While looking at how happy and affectionate Laila was around her mom, Rachael realized that they were a perfect match.
“It’s that power of belonging, I think. It’s like Laila belongs to Mary. It’s like there’s an invisible forcefield between the two of them. Like, it really is proof that it is the love. And I just feel like I’m almost like a matchmaker,” Rachael told The Dodo.
Thanks to her family’s immense love and care, Laila realized that life was beautiful. She had a blissful smile on her face because she knew that her family would cherish her forever.
