He climbed into his truck at the start of the day, ready for another round of deliveries. The route looked the same; packages stacked, engine warm, schedule in his mind.
Then one stop changed everything. The man from California opened the door and looked in, and three massive dogs were staring back at him.
Their presence wasn’t hostile. Their eyes were calm, almost expectant. The driver cocked his head, the size of the dogs matching the surprise in his expression.
He reached for a very specific box without fully realizing how the scene had flipped. The dogs had a plan, and the driver was in the middle of it.
What unfolded next turned an everyday delivery into a moment people couldn’t stop watching.
They Were Not Letting Him Leave Yet
It’s not uncommon for most dogs to defend their homes from strangers. After all, it happens too often in the U.S. Mail couriers get attacked a lot, and that’s a fact.
However, what happened to this UPS driver is a bit different from what we are used to seeing. The man from California was doing a delivery to a citrus farm.
However, he had no idea how it would go. Upon arriving, he was greeted by three big Saint Bernards who welcomed him to the farm.
Upon doing his delivery, he was heading back to the truck only to learn that it was occupied by one of the dogs, and the other two were also scheming something.
They suspected that the man kept a treat box somewhere inside the truck, so they went to have a look around.
The dogs made their objective clear; no treats, no leaving. So, the man went into the truck, and gave them the treats. They followed him back to the yard, so it was safe to assume that he could leave now.
The UPS driver bolted to the truck and got away before the dogs remembered that they could have more treats. The entire event was just hilarious, and it was caught on camera.

I have to admit: if I did the same job, it would also probably be a highlight of my day. Seeing dogs who are happy to see me always brightens my day.

Sure, they might look intimidating given their size, but you can see that they are just really sweet and playful. They wouldn’t hurt a soul.

I have to admit, it’s a really clever ploy from the dogs, and it’s probably something they worked on for a long time in order to be prepared.
Still, this hilarious clip really shows how there are amazing perks to every job, and for this UPS driver, meeting these sweet dogs was definitely one of them.
