At around 6 a.m., an Alabama couple was awakened by the sound of their dog whining near the driveway. His cries didn’t stop, and when they stepped outside to investigate, they found him pacing anxiously beside their car, clearly trying to draw attention to something.
In a TikTok video shared by one of the owners, Savannah Piccini (@coastal.cowgirl), she explained that they searched all around the vehicle but couldn’t find anything out of the ordinary. Still, their dog refused to calm down.
“He wouldn’t stop whining so we decided to spray it with a hose,” Savannah wrote.

“This little thing ran out,” Savannah continued, describing the tiny black kitten that had been trapped inside the car until her dog’s relentless concern brought it to light.
Savannah was relieved the kitten was unharmed, but also taken aback. Incredibly, this was the third baby animal she had discovered in just over a month.
“It felt like someone was playing a joke on me, and me and my husband could not quit laughing in disbelief,” she told Newsweek. “I have been joking that every time I step outside somehow I find more animals to rescue. I secretly love it.”
Her devoted dog seemed to love it too. His anxious cries quickly turned into joyful excitement, tail wagging furiously as he watched the kitten emerge safe and sound.

Savannah shared the video of the rescue on TikTok, and it quickly captured the hearts of thousands.
