Although the shelter didn’t confirm her breed, the best guess was a mix between Whippet and Terrier. The exact lineage wasn’t important to the new owner, who was simply excited to welcome the puppy into her life.
However, as the dog grew, her appearance began to shift in unexpected ways.

The changes were dramatic. Her fur lightened significantly, and by the time she reached full size, she resembled a completely different dog.
Amused by the transformation, her owner decided to document the change with a series of photos.
What she had envisioned her dog growing up to look like had turned out to be very different from reality.
