Dog Who Was Abused, Used For Breeding, And Abandoned Finally Finds Her Little Soulmate

A person who is ready to adopt and take care of a helpless animal and save its life is a person with a huge heart. Now, can you imagine how big the heart of someone who gives shelter to over 100 furry creatures is?

Yes, such people do exist, and they are embodied in one family living in Ohio. Rachel Webster and her husband Tyler, together with their three children, have so far provided a foster home for 140 dogs.

Unfortunately, not all people are like the Websters, in fact, some are the opposite. The miserable life of the 141st dog that this family took into their home is proof of that.

Tragic Fate

A Golden Retriever named Carly was used for breeding for a long time and brutally abused at a puppy mill.

After she was no longer interesting to these people, they handed her over to another breeder where she went through even worse. After these awful people finished using her for their own profit and interest, they wanted to pass her on.

Fortunately, a good soul stepped in and decided to stop that spiral of evil. She found people who were ready to provide Carly with a warm home.

However, when everyone thought that was it and that Carly had finally settled down, came the heartbreak – these people decided to surrender this Golden Retriever to the shelter because she didn’t want to go to the crate when told.

Yet, the same good soul stepped in again and urged them to instead give Carly to a rescue facility. It was a crucial moment for this dog because she came under the radar of the Webster family, who immediately decided to react.

Carly became the 141st dog the Webster family fostered in their home in Ohio. Yet, it wasn’t easy with this dog at all because she was suffering from many issues.

Due to severe ear infections, they had to put her on medications for weeks. She also had marks on her muzzle and she never barked, which means that she was probably mercilessly punished for doing so. The vet couldn’t determine her age either.

Despite all the difficulties, these people didn’t want to give up on Carly no matter what. The bond between this Golden Retriever and the Webster family became unbreakable overnight.

However, it was most pronounced in the case of their five-year-old daughter Kennedy. Although this girl loved all the dogs she cared for so far, Carly was different.

These two spent time together constantly – they played, cuddled, hugged, and even slept together. It was, as the popular saying goes, love at first sight.

Kennedy’s incredible love for this dog pushed the Webster family to make a life-changing decision for Carly’s future

This suffering Golden Retriever finally became a full-fledged member of a loving family.

“Sometimes They Adopt Us”

And just like that, from an abused dog constantly used for breeding, Carly became the happiest Golden Retriever in the world. She finally found her perfect human who healed the deepest wounds on her soul, and there were many of them.

All the members of the Webster family were over the moon because of this development, so much so that they decided to share the happiness of this dog and her little soulmate with the world.

Wait for the “I love you”. Our puppy mill foster Carly made it inpossoble for us to not adopt her when she chose our daughter as her human. Somtimes they adopt us. #puppymillsurvivor #fosterdog #plannedpethoodtoledo #dogsoftiktok #goldenretriever #kidswithdogs

“Our puppy mill foster Carly made it impossible for us to not adopt her when she chose our daughter as her human. Sometimes they adopt us.” they wrote in the caption of the video.

This is a story that once again shows that the sincere love of good souls always defeats malice in the end.

The only thing necessary is to love strongly enough.
