Doggo Knows His Old Sister Is Deaf, So He Barks On Her Ear To Hear Him

Bringing a dog when you already have one at home is always a risk because you never know what the reaction would be. This is especially the case with older dogs who have impaired health.

A family from Michigan was faced with such a decision when they wanted to adopt a puppy, while they already had several pets at home, including their senior dog Annie. To fully understand this situation, you have to know that Annie was partially deaf and blind.

It wasn’t easy for these people at that moment, but they still decided that from that day on they would have another full member of the family.

It will soon turn out that they made the right decision, and without it, the amazing moment you will see in the video would not have happened.

Their Special Way Of Communication

This Michigan family was delighted from the first day Theodore, the Hound, came to their home. He got along well with their Pit Bull mix Lou, their cat Scott, and most importantly, with Annie.

It was truly a surprise for their owner Stephanie that Theo, as she used to call him, wasn’t causing any problems with the other animals because he was quite a naughty dog. Yet, that was a sign of a pure soul underneath a mischievous mask.

Soon Theo demonstrated this in his relationship with his older sister Annie when, in his own way, he made sure that she could hear him well. In case you forgot, Annie is almost completely deaf.

It was their special way of communication, and in the eyes of Stephanie, it was truly amazing. She couldn’t resist recording them and posted the video on TikTok via her account @stepphb730.

“When your sister is 95% deaf and about 80% blind you get real close and loud to make sure she hears you aggravating her,” Stephanie wrote in the video.

When you first watch this video, you can’t help but laugh because it’s just that – funny. However, when you think about it a little, you realize it is just as heartwarming because you see that this is a special way a brother and sister express their love for each other.

Amazing Reactions

Stephanie knew that this video would attract certain attention considering that it features such funny and heartwarming content. However, even she could not imagine that it would be to this extent.

There were many amazing reactions and we decided to highlight some of the comments.

“i’m cracking up at the intentional snout to ear communication LOL,” one user wrote.

“The ✨I’m not touching you✨ but dogs version,” another user joked.

And, the third quipped: “I love when senior dogs get spicy 😭🥰 it’s the best.”

Although it may seem that Annie is angry that her younger brother is “snarling” in her ear, as this user put it, deep down she is surely happy to have someone who can aggravate her in the little life she has left.
