Pup Found Lying Motionless On The Ground Has The Saddest Eyes Vets Have Ever Seen

Pups who are forced to live on the harsh streets really do have it the worst.

Not only are they left to fend for themselves, but they also have no idea what love and companionship are.

Unfortunately, a pup named Esteban suffered such fate. He was found lying motionless on the side of the road with the saddest eyes I have ever seen. The reason behind it was absolutely heartbreaking.

Esteban was hit by a car.

Fortunately, a kindhearted hooman noticed the injured pup and immediately approached Esteban. He noticed that he hadn’t eaten or had a drop of water for days, so he placed him in his car and rushed him to the vet.

After a thorough medical evaluation, the vets gave him some meds in order to ease his pain while they waited for the test results.

Unfortunately, the X-rays showed that Esteban had a broken pelvis as well as a dislocated leg.

In order to have him back on his paws, the vets had to schedule him for surgery.

To everybody’s relief, the procedure was successful, and Esteban was able to finally begin his recovery journey.

One Day At A Time

For the first couple of weeks, the pup had to be on bed rest so that his wounds could heal and his body would get the energy it needed.

But, not to worry… everybody at the vet’s office made sure to spend tons of quality time with him, ensuring that his tummy was full of food and his heart full of love!

When the time was right, they even took him outside where he was able to take a couple of steps all by himself as well as soak up some good-old sun.

After hours of physical therapy, Esteban started showing incredible signs of improvement. He was no longer in excruciating pain and he was beginning to feel like a pup again.

As the day passed, Esteban was not only healthier but happier too.

He absolutely loves spending time with his new hoomans, running around as much as he can and playing every game you could think of.

I am sure that with time, this sweet boy will be a happy puppy once more, living with an incredible family who love and adore him for what he truly is.

However, I would like to take this opportunity to remind everybody that we need to be better to our furry friends.

They have emotions just like we do and want nothing more but to spend time with their fellow hoomans playing or even being couch potatoes.

Therefore, if you ever see an animal who needs a helping hand, don’t hesitate to reach out and provide one.
