When walking down a busy street in any city, it’s not too uncommon to see stray dogs just roaming around.
Most of them are there because there are a lot of people and potential to find food. Sometimes they get maybe one meal a day from strangers, or they get several.
Either way, it’s their only option for survival. But when you look at them, you can tell that something is wrong. Their eyes look lifeless.
They have been struggling for so long that they have lost that special spark. When this pup from California was first reported to rescuers, they were shocked by his condition.
He Looks So Sad And Lonely
After Suzette Hall received information about the dog who desperately needed help, one of her friends, Rosario Ortiz, volunteered to help.
She went to find this pup who had been living on a busy street in California for a while now. When she saw him, the woman was stunned to see him covered in motor oil.
Rosario cried for him because he had probably been struggling for so long. Nobody really knew his story. He was just kind of there.
And he had been trying to survive for a long time now. It was like he was invisible to everyone despite begging for food from strangers.
When Rosario tried to save him, there was just one problem. Even though he was begging for food, he did not like to be very close to people.
The pup was pretty skittish, so there was a chance he could bite her if she tried to put a leash on him. She needed to gain his trust first.
The Dog Is Still Very Sweet
She gave him some food, which helped him to relax, and then Rosario was able to place a leash on him. Once that was done, she helped move him into the crate.
Now that he was safe, the woman took him back to the shelter in California where he would receive medical help and a lot of food.
The rescuers were shocked to see that he was covered in motor oil and scars. The scars likely came from abuse he suffered from strangers, and it’s unclear how he was covered in motor oil.
Despite everything he went through, he was just the sweetest pup, and Rosario saw that there was still a spark in his eyes. He just needed a kind person to show him the way.
He had to learn that not all humans are bad and there are those who are willing to help him. Soon enough, he would recover and the pup would be ready for adoption.
When that happens, I sincerely hope that he finds a loving family as soon as possible. He struggled so much and he deserves a happy ending.
