Severely Malnourished Dog Tied To A Porch Shocks Passerby To The Core

In all my years on this planet, I doubt I have seen a more graphic display of animal cruelty than I have for this little puppy.

Imagine this… he is tied with a chain to a porch. He can’t move much. His owner leaves him outside in any weather. He is completely neglected.

The poor pup also received no food whatsoever, judging by how malnourished he was, and he had a horrible skin condition. I can’t even imagine what he was forced to go through.

It was only through sheer luck that a kind passerby noticed this puppy and decided to do something to help.

He Was Desperate For Help

When the passerby first noticed this small puppy, he took pity on him and immediately called for rescuers. When they arrived, they were in complete shock.

The dog was incredibly hungry, so they gave him a bowl of food so he could regain some of his strength.

The poor pup ate all of it almost immediately. It was really hard to tell when his last meal was. It could have been days.

The kind people examined the dog closer and noticed that he had fleas and possibly ticks. He was exposed to the harsh weather for so long that it’s a miracle he is still alive.

Once he finished his meal and drank some water, they noticed that he was now feeling a little better, but he still needed medical attention soon.

After that, the kind rescuers took him back to the shelter with them and tried to figure out what their next move was.

He was first given proper medical attention and a warm medical bath that would help him with his skin condition. Given how resilient he is, the rescuers are certain he will recover.

This was probably the first time in this puppy’s life that he got a chance to relax and just enjoy himself for a while. He looked so happy around his rescuers.

He Loved Playing With Cats

After that, they introduced him to some new friends there. There were a lot of cats in the shelter, and he didn’t mind being around them at all.

There were no other dogs there, but this pup didn’t care. He had a lot of friends who loved to play with him, and that was the only thing that mattered.

With time and care, his health would gradually improve. He regained all of his strength and his fur started to grow back.

His rescuers were so happy to see that he was making progress. The good news would continue, and this sweet pooch would make a full recovery.

During that time, he grew up a lot and was bigger than his companions, but that never stopped them from running around and having fun.

The shelter staff would do their best to help him feel comfortable in their presence. Once he turned one year old, they threw him a big birthday party.

He was so happy during the celebration, and I think his rescuers are hopeful that he will be able to find a forever home soon. I hope for the same thing. He deserves someone amazing.

While we don’t know what happens next in his story, it’s safe to assume that he is already living his best life with people who care about him, and nothing is going to change that ever again.
