Tearful Pup Ran After Owner’s Car For Miles, Thinking They Left Him Behind By Mistake

When a dog chooses you to be his hooman, they don’t want you to just be his owner, they want you to become their best friend.

A bond that a pup can have is something truly unbelievable and they think of it as something worth fighting for.

However, when a hooman decides to break that bond and leave their furry friend behind, they tend to become sad, depressed, and sometimes even violent.

Please, Don’t Leave Me

When a man named Mert was heading to his job, he noticed a handsome pup in the middle of the road. The pup was running restlessly, trying to catch up to a car in front.

Meret wasn’t sure what was going on so he decided to pull up next to the pup and figure out what had happened.

“I was driving to work. I couldn’t stop myself from stopping,” Mert told The Dodo.

Meret talked to a pup in a sweet, calm voice, urging him not to be scared of him. Luckily, the pup was extremely friendly and he immediately ran up to Mert to get some sweet hugs and kisses.

“As soon as I started petting him, telling him it’s ok, he trusted me so much. I opened the back door of my car and he jumped into the car,” he added.

Knowing that he had a sad pup in his car, the hooman decided to cancel all his meetings for the day, went back home, and took care of this sweet boy.

Best Gift Ever

Knowing that he was abandoned by his previous owners, Mert knew that this pup needed some extra care and attention.

The best part of this entire situation is that, in his free time, Mert is a dedicated animal rescuer who adores taking care of furry friends. This means that this sweet boy found the perfect man to rescue him.

“I initially planned to find him a new home. I introduced him to my family members, who are also other animals. He was such a behaved dog. He immediately made good friends and he stayed. I couldn’t give him away,” he added.

Naming him Jean P, not only did this incredible hooman console this adorable dog, but he also gave him a new life.

Ever since, Jean P has been living the life of his dreams. He was able to forget all about his dark past and completely embrace his new life full of fun adventures, incredible friends, and lots of cuddles.

Can it get better than that?

End Animal Cruelty

What happened to Jean P is absolutely unacceptable.

If you, for whatever reason, are no longer able to take care of your pet, please do not just dump them on the street.

If you are not able to find them a forever home yourself, then consider taking them to your local shelter and providing them with a second chance at happiness.

They deserve it.
