As Breanna drove through Mississippi, her eyes caught a faint movement crossing the road. Without hesitation, she pressed the brakes.
Concern and curiosity pushed her to step out of the car and take a closer look. That was when she spotted a tiny puppy, trembling, his small face tucked deep into the tall grass.

Back home in Lumberton, Mississippi, Breanna gave Koa a warm bath and wrapped him in a soft towel. She held him close, letting him feel safe for the first time in who knows how long.
Both Breanna and her husband worked to help him settle in, while their young son instantly grew attached to the new family member. Together, they made sure Koa had toys, cuddles, and plenty of love.
